With Release 12, we revisit the very essence of our early collections, but through a new lens. Our inspiration for this edit draws deeply from the classic signatures of the brand—the iconic colours, asymmetrical silhouettes, and the use of luxurious fabrics. These elements form the hallmark of our early designs and are reimagined for today.

At its core, this collection revives cherished classics with a modern twist, seamlessly infusing measured playfulness into signature styles. Influenced by the rich traditions of pichwai art and block painting, motifs such as the banana tree and peacock serve as the blueprint for our intricate brocade patterns.

In this release, we have elevated our commitment to luxury by reintroducing house favourites such as Matka and Dupion Silks. Our Matka silk has been painstakingly sourced from the traditional weaving regions of West Bengal and Bihar, and is known for its rich texture, lightweight feel and durability. Not only has it been used as the base fabric but also as lining, making each garment uniquely special. In addition, the distinctive quality of Dupion silk, apart from its richness and sheen, lies in its ability to absorb and translate hues, perfectly echoing our continuing love affair with colour.

Every aspect of our garment's architecture has been meticulously thought through—from the tailored collars and refined cuffs to the intricate pleating and draped elements. Each piece has been designed by Payal to be worn, re-worn and layered and styled in multiple ways, creating a perfect balance of form and function.
